Lower Elementary
Our Lower Elementary school program is for students ages 6 to 9 years old. This program is for homeschool elementary-aged students seeking a hybrid learning style and social interaction with other students. Our private school was designed with a Montessori focus in the program. Students gain knowledge in core subjects while also studying botany, geography, zoology, biology and history. Parents are provided customized lesson plans and curriculum for their student to continue at home, which creates cohesiveness in their homeschooling.
The purpose of our hybrid school is to engage your child's sense of wonder and help them to develop a lifelong love of learning while partnering with you on your homeschool journey.
Oftentimes, homeschool students seek social interaction with children their age, and MindSprout Montessori offers that interaction while incorporating the Montessori principles into their academia so your children grow a lifelong passion for learning.
Upper Elementary
The Upper Elementary hybrid school program is for students ages 9 to 12 years old. Students at this age are moving from concrete thinking into abstract thought. It is during this period the Montessori classroom begins to shift from a strong focus on concrete Montessori materials to being more research based. Children are encouraged to follow their interests and passions in their research projects. Cross-curricular subjects are woven into their research as
much as possible.
Upper Elementary students study: math, language arts, science, history, geography, biology and more. Upon completion of Upper Elementary students are well prepared for a Montessori middle school program (ages 12-14).
Children between the ages of 9-12 are increasingly social beings. Our hybrid homeschool program provides these students a place to develop strong friendships while engaging in collaborative learning.
