A creative sewing and maker elective where students build confidence in sewing machine usage, construction skills, and hands-on design through fashion, functional sewing, and imaginative maker projects.

As technical confidence grows, students may explore one of two creative concentration pathways:
Fashion & Garment Construction Track:
Students explore fashion sketching, garment construction, wearable accessories, upcycled fashion, and creative styling projects.
Potential projects may include:
Skirts & dresses
Lounge sets
Fashion accessories
Wearable art
Miniature fashion collections
Practical Life Skills Sewing Track:
Students explore sewing machine mastery, mending & alterations, home goods, quilting, sustainability, and functional sewing skills.
Potential projects may include:
Tote bags
Pillows
Aprons
Organizational accessories
Quilted projects
Lifestyle sewing pieces
